Overall, I am a very healthy person for my age. I have always been active. I love to exercise and enjoy eating healthy. When I enrolled with Medi-Share, I was flagged for high cholesterol. It appeared heredity to me and it was usually in the 240 range. The information I received from the Restore program was very informative and I especially like the book "Eat to Live".
It took a while but with my full attention on bringing it down and trying different changes in my diet, it suddenly dropped to 207. During my seven months on the program, I had to cease exercising. So, for me, it was the changes in my diet. I gave up all meat and dairy, enjoyed salads, vegetables, fruits, and walnuts daily, along with adding more flax seed to my diet. I also began taking oat bran and Psyllium whole husks. I will always appreciate the information and encouragement that guided me to the 200 range. With such a diet you naturally lose weight. I am having no problem staying at about 120lbs for my 5'4" frame. I feel great!
