I just got the results of my second blood test since beginning the Restore program and I am overjoyed at the results. When I began the program my cholesterol was 259. ( I have been as high as 282 in the past) this is something that runs in my family. Three months into the program with a great personal health consultant my cholesterol dropped 23 points to 236. After 6 months and 24 pounds lighter it dropped 33 more points. For a total of 56 points now my total cholesterol is 203. I'm getting there, it is working and I'm thrilled. I would not have been able to do it without the help from the Restore program. The counselor continued to call even when I didn't want him to, it was the motivation I needed to continue the program, otherwise I would have quit. The accountability is what worked for me.
